Performer Set Etiquette / New Member Workshop

This class is SO much more than a just a set etiquette class. It will dispel the mystery of working on set, giving Performers an understanding of the inner workings of the film and television industry. Valuable information will also be provided on what being an ACTRA member is all about. Taught by ACTRA member Christopher Cinnamon, this class will provide valuable information to the individual that will help them advance their career in the Alberta Film,Television & Digital industry.

This workshop is mandatory for new ACTRA Apprentice Members who have not taken the class.

Instructor BIO: Christopher Cinnamon has been working in theatre, film and television for more than 20 years. During this time Chris has worked as a Stand-In and Actor as well as in several departments including; Production, Locations and Assistant Directing. Chris has also directed and produced four of his own short films including his most recent The Sound of Willie Nelson’s Guitar which won the 2013 Director’s Guild of Canada Award for Best Short Film. In total Chris has worked on more than 40 film and television productions including Shorts, Features, Made for TV Movies and Mini Series. Chris has also worked on 5 different TV series totaling more than 75 episodes.
