ACTRA represents Stunt Performers and Coordinators.  We often receive questions about how someone might go about becoming a Stunt Performer.  Frankly, the best way is to get in touch with the Stunt Coordinators and let them know you are interested.   

Create a resume for yourself that outlines your personal statistics such as height, weight, hair color, eye color, ethnicity and any special skills you have (horseback riders and women are most often in demand in Southern Alberta).  Send that resume to us, and we will distribute it to the Stunt Committee of our local branch.

Looking for training?  Check out www.stunt-training.com.  You can also take courses locally in martial arts, weaponry, gymnastics, horsemanship, etc.  These activities  will give you a good background in the special skills required of Stunt Performers.
