What has been your favorite role?
My Favorite role had to be when we were filming MIRACLE IN EAST TEXAS here in Alberta, Starring Kevin Sorbo & John Ratzenberger. My role was one of the widows they were swindlinAs a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?g. It was really great, as I had the opportunity to do a one on one scene with Kevin Sorbo, and his humor made the scene fun and exciting, he was a great Director. I would have say that was definitely my favorite.
What do you do when you are not performing?
When I’m not performing, I am a wife and mother, avid cat supporter, and I love to garden. Im also learning to cook these days of late.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
My passion project organization is called THE NEW HOPE RESCUE RANCH, in Islip NY. It is where both my cats were rescued from. I have to say the woman who runs the ranch, is one of my biggest heroes. Every cat she rescues will come to the ranch, no one left behind… which is a tall order with the cat problem in NYC. She gets them chipped, medical, spay/neutered, litter box trained, so they are good prepared cats for forever homes.. The Ranch takes donations for food, medical, upkeep, adoption events, etc., and she has my heart.
What Director would you like to work with?
The Director would I like to work with most, that is so easy… I would like to work for Tim Burton, in a speaking role capacity. I had the pleasure of being part of the background on BIG EYES, but would love to do a fantasy type film like he is so famous for, being one of those magical characters, with full costume and makeup.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
My favorite TV show is Law & Order anything, and the movie HEAT, Starring Al Pacino & Robert Dinero is my favorite film of all time. I have always been a crime drama action junkie.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
As a performer I wished I had learned earlier to not be afraid to step in front of the camera. Would have started earlier and studied Then I believe, I would have learned to memorize lines sooner, create better timing, to do better on auditions.. Confidence is everything in this business, confidence, a great smile, and an amazing agent who believes in you and pushes you to do great things.
