What has been your favorite role?

I think I’d have to say Charlie in Meet Me at Christmas, for Hallmark. He was a lot of fun to play, had a lovely little story arc, and it was a pleasure working closely with the leads, Catherine Bell and Mark Deklin. Playing Mitch in Season 1 of Joe Pickett is a very close second – a great team both in front of and behind the camera!

What do you do when you are not performing?

When I’m not acting on screen or on stage, I can usually be found directing theatre shows, or working in Arts Administration. Currently I’m doing some development work with One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre.

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?

I am a big dog lover and support several dog rescue organizations in Southern Alberta. Hopefully in the future I’ll have enough spare time to volunteer for one!

What Director would you like to work with?

Well in a dream world where all things are possible… Mike White. I absolutely love his work on White Lotus, it seems like he works from a very character driven place in his work.  I really love working with directors who are former actors, they have such a great understanding of the process.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?

There are so many! My two current faves are White Lotus and Succession. I love the precision and economy of the performances and writing in Succession. And White Lotus has a such a delightfully skewed vision. Very different but both are addictive.

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?

If I could go back in time to give younger me some wisdom, I think it would be that fear just gets in your way. When I was finally able to stop worrying about getting it right or making a mistake – getting past the FEAR of being WRONG, I was able to find a greater joy and freedom in everything I did, onstage and off!!
